Settling in to the new place

I was pretty unsure of this new place that Mom and Dad moved us to. First of all there's this box that you're supposed to get into, the doors close and then it moves. This 'elevator' is not for me. I will not step foot into it. Good thing we live on the 1st floor. Also, I don't have a window that I can watch the world out of, or a yard where I can invite friends over to play. The 1st week was rough here. I tried to escape a few times. Did you know that on my new porch and can go visit our neighbors all by myself? Yep, I just have to squeeze over some planters and nose at their door. Once I went visiting without telling mom and dad, they freaked out that I was lost. Another time I ran past mom when she was coming in the front door. I ran down the hallway. Can't blame a dog for wanting to explore my new digs. Turns out this new place is pretty cool. I have 3 new girlfriends! And, lots of other buddies that I see all the time. It's like I live in a dorm with friends in almost every apartment. Dad takes me out of a social call every night. Sometimes I wait in the lobby or gallery hoping to run into some playmates. I think this place will work out ok. It even snowed!
Hanging on out my new porch in the snow!
I'm pretty settled in these days. As long as my couch is around I'm good.

Moving across town

Mom and Dad decided that we needed to leave our Queen Anne house. I was pretty sad. I had all my best buds in the neighborhood and I loved my view, my window in the bedroom where I could watch over the goings on and my yard. That was part of the problem though, my yard was always under a state of 'growth'. Mom and Dad tried to grow me some grass, and it was actually working, but I could never really enjoy it. We captured a few final views from our house before we left. I'll miss that place.

Snow in Seattle

The rumor was that it doesn't often snow in the city, well I don't know who said that because this past year we saw the white stuff a few times. Buses were slipping and sliding around, roads were closed and even the city seemed to shut down for a few days. This place just isn't ready for my kind of snow, but I'll take the little bits where I can get them. Mom and Dad made sure to take me out and enjoy the white stuff while it lasted.
Zoom, zoom zoom. I feel so free!!
