The Skagit County Tulip Festival

Mom and Dad took me on a road trip this weekend. First, I got to meet so many people when we stopped by an outlet mall. Mom said that I needed to get some headshots taken, so I could sign them with my paw and pass them out. Everyone with a camera phone took a picture of me, stayed tuned to facebook profile pictures, I may have some cameo appearances coming soon. Then, we were off and back on the road. I haven't seen country roads like that since my puppyhood. There were fields and fields of color.
I really wanted to jump out and 'smell the tulips', but mom and dad picked the wrong field for that and I had to stay in the car. Next year, they promised. But, they made me promise that I would not claim any flowers of my own. A year's a long time, we'll see if i remember the rules.
Mom and Dad really needed me there to help take the picture.
We got this huge flower thing, mom calls it a rhododendron. It was so big Dad had to drive while mom held it still on the floor of the front seat. I think she had a squished ride, but i had my hammock in the back seat and snoozed the whole way home.
