In June I was contracted into a project manager role and supervised the reconstruction of the front yard. Mom and Dad made the walk way and planted all new grass. I continue to monitor any trespassers who come into my yard without permission and do a nightly perimeter check to unsure our safety for the evening. There are rarely any problems, however there is a pesky cat who likes to sit in one of the mulch beds. I try to encourage her to move from my bedroom window lookout, but it's as if she knows I can't get to her because she only flees during my perimeter check.
At the end of June mom had to go to Orlando for 'work' and dad got to go with her. I went to a resort where I had sleepovers and played all day long. I missed my mom and dad, but they told me it was so hot in Florida that I would have hated the trip. From the looks of them I don't think they are made for hot weather either.
Dad told me about this place, the Swiss Family Robinson house. He wants to build something like this one day for us to live in. Seems pretty cool to me since I could be way up high in a tree to survey my land and my water would come to me.
