Day 1-Troubles getting on the road

For days my house had been packed in a trailer. They even put my box of toys in there. But, i really knew something was up when my couch disappeared. Then, nothing happened. I just hung out on the floor (man i missed my comfy couch) while Clint worked outside with his dad and Susan just kept putting stuff in boxes. I found out that the electrical wiring from the car to the trailer was not allowing the running lights to turn on. It took days to get that fixed. Then tuesday night they had me hop into my new pimp ride in the back of the Range Rover for a trip i didn't even know was coming. Well, almost. We stopped and bought a roof rack and box so that i would have even more room in my back seat couch for our cross-country adventure. We finally left Cincinnati at 7:30pm on Tues. June 30th and drove all the way to Champaign, IL. I got to stay in my first hotel that night, but it was a little rough. Mom and Dad didn't even make me get off the bed when it was time to go to sleep (they said the floor was too damp), so i took advantage and stretched out across the whole thing. It wasn't all bad though because in the morning i met an Alaskan friend, Denali, who was traveling east and we got to play in the yard before hopping back into my plush back seat couch for Day 2.
Leaving my 1st home on Vine Street in Cincinnati. I enjoyed meeting all the people from my cafe, but i won't miss 'the lot' where i had to be taken on a leash when i had to go outside.
Look at the giant surfboard on top of the car! Now we look tough and official, like we can drive across the country and through the mountains.
